Studio contains two separate creation tools
Use the MIDI Melody Studio for editable notes. Use AI Sample Lab for generated WAV audio. An AI sample is not a MIDI melody.
1. Describe the MIDI melody you need
Type a clear producer prompt, for example:
romantic R&B melody, 88 BPM, A minorGenre + mood + BPM + key gives the clearest direction.
2. Generate more versions of the same idea
Click More Variations to create alternatives around the current musical direction. Keep rolling until one feels right.
3. Shape Melody, Bass, Chords and Counter
Open Advanced to change the real instrument preset for each layer. Adjust each volume live, or mute parts you do not need.
- Main = lead melody
- Bass = low foundation
- Layer A = chords/harmony
- Layer B = counter melody/call-and-response
4. Start with Cinema, then try the effects
Cinema is the easiest first move for a wider cinematic vibe. Then experiment:
- Pitch transposes the sound.
- Dist adds edge and grit.
- Portal adds unusual space and movement.
- Fusion reshapes/blends the sound.
- Polish adds a cleaner finished feel.
- Ghost / Texture add atmosphere and background detail.
- Stack / Monster make the result feel larger and more layered.
- Mutate, Variate, Multiverse, Warp and Mask are creative transformation tools—try them at low amounts first.
5. Edit notes safely in the Piano Roll
The highlighted rows belong to the selected key and scale. Paint, delete or drag notes there. Scale + Time Snap helps notes land on the right pitch and timing grid. Undo/Redo is available for edits.
6. Send the melody to Sampler for chops
Choose Melody → Sampler. Studio automatically slices the idea and creates flips. Drag the waveform range to choose where chopping starts, then use Bars, Part A/B and the slice buttons to control the variation.
7. Twist AI-generated WAV samples
In AI Sample Lab, choose an AI Drop or generated sound and press Load & try free. Apply the same effects, send it to Sampler and experiment before downloading. These are WAV audio samples, not MIDI notes.
8. Download the correct format
- MIDI melody: ALL 3 downloads MIDI + WET WAV + DRY WAV together for the exact melody.
- AI sample: WET + DRY downloads both audio versions together.
